Youth with Health Conditions or Impairments

Bridge City F.A.M. is dedicated to creating a safe and inclusive space for all young people, especially those with health conditions or impairments. Our activities are designed to promote socialization and team building, while also recognizing the unique challenges faced by our participants. We encourage all parents and caregivers of health-impaired youth to connect with us, learn about our programs, and consider joining our community. Together, we can provide a supportive and nurturing environment that will help our young people thrive.

Disabled Athletes in Sports Hall

At Bridge City FAM, co-founder William Hayes brings his lifelong passion for helping marginalized communities to serve health-impaired youth. With a wealth of experience as a resident and vocational assistant with the intellectually disabled population, William is committed to making a positive difference in the lives of those who need it most.
Sports training and team competition for the health-impaired youth population are little to
non-existent, and current programs and services are not accepting new members. Bridge City FAM has designed a program that delivers year-round sports development, skills training/development, peer
socialization, and more.
Bridge City FAM is currently ready for plug-and-play for
communities ready to participate. Basketball and soccer will be first up for our young people with health conditions or impairments in league team sports offerings.
